The Invasive Radiological Technologist provides fundamental technical support by assisting the physician with patient preparation, intra and post-interventional/surgical procedures, management of supplies and devices, physiologic patient monitoring and assisting with direct patient care. Responsible for safe and effective operation or radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment as well as specialized imaging and technical equipment used for procedures. Is a patient/family educator, advocate and liaison.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Associate of Science required
Registered Radiologic Technologist from an accredited school of Radiological Technology and current Florida license
Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) credentials and proof of eligibility for advanced certification required (VI,CV, or CI for IVR and RCIS or RCES for Cath Lab) upon completion of one year full-time work experience in interventional cardiovascular services
Completes a minimum of 12 CEUs annually (10 CEUs must be CV related)
