Job Description:

JOIN US NOW as we are seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology Technician who is passionate about the health and well being of our patients to operate specialized radiological equipment to provide imaging for neuro, general, operative, and intervention procedures and perform duties within multiple specialty areas.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate specialized radiological equipment to provide imaging for neuro, general, operative, and intervention procedures and perform duties within multiple specialty areas
  • Work alongside Neuro- Endovascular surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, Fellows and residents providing life saving treatment for stroke and trauma patients
  • Perform procedures such as stroke treatment, chemotherapy treatments (Y90's), embolizations as well as routine spine and GI procedures
  • Responsible for patient safety, radiation safety, supplies and charging of complicated exams
  • All duties of Radiation Specialist Technician and is multifunctional in all areas of Interventional Radiology without any assistance required
  • May have additional duties delegated such as safety, supplies, contrast, staff/patient scheduling, and training

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years experience in interventional radiology or related experience required
  • Primary certification by the ARRT in Radiography (R) and AZ MRTBE licensure required
  • Completion of approved American College of Radiology: Radiologic Technologist Program
  • Vascular Interventional (VI) registery is preferred
  • ARRT post-primary pathway certification, e.g., Vascular Interventional (VI) preferred
  • Film quality control and PACS experience preferred
