Job Description

Baptist Health is currently looking to add an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist to our Special Procedures Department at Baptist Downtown, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity. As an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist, you will be responsible for: Performs high-quality radiographic images. Functions as a member of a team performing interventional procedures. Works under sterile conditions, very similar to the OR. Promotes goodwill among co-workers and other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients. Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements. Must participate in on-call coverage. Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

  • Radiologic Technologist Experience
  • Experience working in a hospital setting
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Experience performing special interventional procedures
  • Experience with vascular imaging procedures
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - State Radiologic Health Branch
  • Driver's License - DMV
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT - ARRT
  • Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH
  • Registered Technologist in Cardiovascular - ARRT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
