Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license and DEA license
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Demonstrated experience handling high-volume caseloads
Proven success in handling high-volume caseloads

Job Responsibility

Perform minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to support integrative treatment plans for cancer, Lyme disease, and other complex conditions
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary physicians to provide precision, patient-centered care
Interpret imaging studies and ensure accurate diagnosis to guide advanced therapies
Educate and counsel patients and families on procedures, outcomes, and follow-up care
Maintain the highest professional, ethical, and safety standards in all clinical practices
Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement within Envita Interventional Radiology

Two (2) years experience in interventional radiology or related experience required
Primary certification by the ARRT in Radiography (R) and AZ MRTBE licensure required
Completion of approved American College of Radiology: Radiologic Technologist Program
Vascular Interventional (VI) registery is preferred
ARRT post-primary pathway certification, e.g., Vascular Interventional (VI) preferred
Film quality control and PACS experience preferred

Job Responsibility

Operate specialized radiological equipment to provide imaging for neuro, general, operative, and intervention procedures and perform duties within multiple specialty areas
Work alongside Neuro- Endovascular surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, Fellows and residents providing life saving treatment for stroke and trauma patients
Perform procedures such as stroke treatment, chemotherapy treatments (Y90's), embolizations as well as routine spine and GI procedures
Responsible for patient safety, radiation safety, supplies and charging of complicated exams
All duties of Radiation Specialist Technician and is multifunctional in all areas of Interventional Radiology without any assistance required
May have additional duties delegated such as safety, supplies, contrast, staff/patient scheduling, and training

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school

Fellowship training in a radiology subspecialty (optional, depending on the position)

Job Responsibility

Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs and ultrasounds
Provide accurate and timely radiology reports to referring physicians
Collaborate with clinicians to diagnose and manage patient conditions based on imaging findings
Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and patient care rounds when required
Adhere to quality assurance and safety protocols in the radiology department
May perform interventional radiology procedures based on expertise and facility requirements
Provide on-call coverage as needed
