Job Description:

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiologist to join our growing academic faculty within the Department of Radiology. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice advanced interventional radiology in a high-volume tertiary care environment while contributing to education, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration at a nationally recognized academic medical center. The selected candidate will join a collegial team of subspecialty-trained radiologists supported by advanced technology, strong institutional resources, and a culture that values professional development and work-life integration.

Job Responsibility:

  • Practice advanced interventional radiology in a high-volume tertiary care environment
  • Contribute to education, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and specialty conferences
  • Perform broad case mix including: Oncology interventions
  • Complex venous and arterial interventions
  • Portal hypertension and TIPS
  • Women’s health and uterine embolization
  • Advanced image-guided procedures

Requirements:

  • MD or DO (or equivalent)
  • ABR board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Completion of ACGME-accredited Interventional Radiology fellowship
  • ABR CAQ certified/eligible in Interventional Radiology
  • Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
