Job Description:

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonology and Critical Care, is seeking an experienced Interventional Pulmonologist to join our team at a prestigious tertiary care teaching hospital with over 136 ICU beds. Join a collaborative team of 40 pulmonologists and help drive the continued expansion of our pulmonology program across the Kansas City metro. Academic appointment commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Join a collaborative team of 40 pulmonologists and help drive the continued expansion of our pulmonology program across the Kansas City metro
  • Offers a 100% interventional pulmonology practice with the opportunity to be involved in the medical ICU if interested
  • Active participation in the procedural education of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellows
  • Actively engaged in multiple ongoing clinical trials, including both industry and investigator-initiated trials

Requirements:

  • MD, DO or equivalent
  • Completion of an Internal Medicine residency
  • Completion of a Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship with board certification/eligibility
  • Completion of an Interventional Pulmonology fellowship
  • Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
