Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a 1 week locum Interventional Cardiology Physician job in Vicksburg, Mississippi, paying $2,300/day - $2,650/day. This is a generalized description of locum interventional cardiologist job requirements. Job Responsibility:

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty, stenting and catheterizations
  • Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
  • Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed
  • Address and manage acute cardiovascular emergencies and complications
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
  • Fellowship in cardiology, with specific training in interventional cardiology
  • Board certification in cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
  • Additional board certification or fellowship completion in interventional cardiology
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Mississippi
  • At least one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting
