The internship covers three main learning areas: IT Demand Management and Standardisation, which involves learning how Airbus aggregates and standardises IT demands for complexity reduction and procurement efficiency; Supplier Evaluation and Development, focusing on the rigorous assessment and continuous improvement of the supplier base; and Strategic Supplier Landscape Development, where the intern contributes to the long-term evolution of the supplier base by analysing market trends, managing risk, and developing resilient sourcing strategies.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting in the identification and gathering of purchasing potentials
Support and launch RFI (Request for Information) /RFP (Request for Proposal) events (via the Airbus DS procurement tool) and follow up the ordering process
Preparation of negotiation results and supplier proposals
Assisting in the creation of the respective commodity- and supplier strategies
Special tasks. e.g. project tasks to support team leaders
Requirements:
Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering or similar field of study
Very good Google Workspace and MS Office knowledge
Discretion mandatory - strong focus on accuracy
Fluency in English is mandatory
Nice to have:
German / French / Spanish would be a plus
