Job Description:

As part of the Vehicle Development team within Volkswagen R at the Wolfsburg Warmenau location, you will work on the development and testing of Volkswagen's R models. Our team, consisting of Aerodynamics, Acoustics, Performance and Consumption, as well as Homologation, combines classical vehicle development methods with innovative approaches to continuously optimize performance. Your tasks will include preparing tests, supporting test drives, and analyzing measurement data. A key focus is on acoustic development, including planning, preparation, execution, and development of automated evaluations of acoustic measurements. This position is aimed at students who want to gain practical experience in vehicle development and actively contribute to exciting development projects. The assignment period should last 3 to 6 months.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the team during test drives and competitive analyses
  • Plan, perform and evaluate acoustic measurements on R-models
  • Cooperation with the development workshop for optimal measurement preparations
  • Development of automated evaluation procedures

Requirements:

  • Students of mechanical engineering, physical engineering, automotive engineering or comparable fields of study
  • Knowledge of automotive engineering, vibration technology, acoustics and measurement technology is advantageous
  • German language level B2 and good English skills
  • Ability to work in a team, initiative and independent work
  • The desired period of use is 3 to 6 months
