Within the Johnson & Johnson’s Finance organization, there are 3 departments that our recruiting for internship finance analyst positions: - Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Research & Development Finance (IM R&D): This team is focused on supporting our departments that conduct ground-breaking research to address the most important medical needs of time with our finance analytical skills. - Johnson & Johnson Treasury: Imagine working on projects that shape how a multinational manages its cash, risks, and banking relationships. - The internships at Innovative Medicine Principal Operations (IMPO) will offer a unique opportunity to work in a Global Organization with teams based in US, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Singapore working in close collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial, Tax and Treasury and where you will get familiar with a broad set of financial aspects linked to Controlling, Inventory and Costing, Accounting and Reporting. Additionally, you will be gaining invaluable insights into our profit and loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets. Job Responsibility:
Optimizing SAP downloads in excel to prepare for budget reviews with business partners (time reporting information, travel & entertainment expense overviews, etc.)
Creation of new cost centers, project codes and overall master data transactions
Prepare budget vs. actuals reports
Ensure audit readiness by executing completeness and validation checks on back-up documentation (e.g. for journal entries)
Supporting activities to ensure SOX compliance
Prepare analytical overview to support controlling and/or accounting and reporting activities
Contribute to strategic projects such as monitoring interest rate transitions, analyzing regional trading landscapes, enhancing our financial systems, or supporting bank relationship management
Requirements:
Masters/Bachelor education in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Commercial Engineering (should not be completed yet but preferably last year master students)
Technical aptitude, strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluency in English
Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
