KICK-START YOUR CAREER IN A BRAND-NEW HOTEL ENVIRONMENT. Located in a dynamic hospitality hub, Courtyard by Marriott Ghent offers a modern and efficient operational setting. As part of the facility team, you help ensure that the hotel operates safely, sustainably and in line with international standards. With 174 stylish guest rooms, multiple meeting spaces and shared facilities within the hospitality complex, you will gain insight into how facility management supports a contemporary and fast-paced hotel environment. This role is ideal for students who want to combine technical knowledge with operational coordination in a modern hospitality setting.

Job Responsibility:

  • support daily facility operations and maintenance follow-up
  • assist in preventive maintenance planning
  • coordinate with external contractors
  • monitor safety procedures and compliance standards
  • contribute to energy-saving and sustainability projects
  • assist with documentation and audit preparation
  • help analyse operational processes and propose improvements
  • collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth hotel operations

Requirements:

  • You are studying a Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Technical Studies or a related field
  • You have a strong interest in building systems, maintenance and operational processes
  • You are analytical, structured and solution-oriented
  • You work accurately with attention to safety and quality
  • You speak English fluently and/or Dutch
  • You are available for at least 8 weeks
