Within Boskalis, we are looking for a motivated student/intern to support us on Dredging projects in the field of Operations. The projects can be anywhere in the world, from land reclamation in the Maldives or development of port facilities in Africa.. Activities where you can be involved could be land expansion, dredging, and rock works. The content of your internship we determine together; based on your skills, preferences, the fit within our organization and available projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and follow-up on site operations with the superintendent for the project such as, mobilization, installation, or demobilization
  • Create and follow up on detailed panning, monitoring the work for efficient and effective execution, considering quality, cost, and budget
  • Daily progress reporting
  • Manage, instruct, and motivate Boskalis’ and subcontractors’ team and vessel crews

Requirements:

  • Student, following the study track Civil Engineering or equivalent, at least vocational (MBO) or higher
  • Currently based in the Netherlands or a Dutch resident
  • Independent, pro-active, precise, team player and flexible
  • Good English language skills
  • Willing to work abroad in a rotational schedule (5 weeks on project, 2 weeks off, 5 weeks on project)
  • Minimum age of 18 years and preferable in possession of a driving license
