Job Description:

In the department 'Development of E-Drives and Transmissions' at Volkswagen Group Components, you will work on key technologies such as pulse inverters and power electronic components, validate ideas and concepts, perform simulations, and prepare analyses independently while supporting your master’s thesis.

Job Responsibility:

  • Simulating, designing, and optimizing power electronic systems
  • Supporting the analysis and development of power electronic circuits as well as magnetic components
  • Assisting the team in developing innovative solutions for power electronics challenges in the automotive on-board charger domain

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in an advanced master’s program in electrical engineering, power electronics, or a comparable field of study
  • Good to very good academic performance
  • Knowledge of power electronic circuits and their functionality
  • Experience with power converters (>1 kW) and relevant experience with MATLAB required
  • Practical knowledge of additional simulation tools (e.g., Simulink, PLECS, SPICE) is desirable
  • Independent working style and quick comprehension
