Job summary: Originate new ITB transactions in Australia. Supplementary Information: Complies with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements. Job Responsibility
Originate new ITB transactions in Australia: In charge of Marketing, Originating and Developing ITB activities in Australia, with a strong focus on Trade Finance and Receivables and Supply Chain Finance
Works closely with Coverage Teams to generate new deals and build pipeline
Participate in pitches and client visits together with Coverage Teams
Identify new prospects, in line with the strategies of CACIB and ITB Australia
Identifies and monitor Inbound and Outbound opportunities
Ensure commercial proposals are in line with and answer clients’ needs
Prepare Early Bird Memos / contribute to Credit Applications related to ITB products, and participate to various Credit Committees
Negotiation of terms, documentation, pricing with clients with a view to maximize profitability and optimize resources
Being a new business line in Australia, the candidate will be required to originate as well as oversee the end-to-end implementation of the deal in close coordination with client, relevant Structuring team(s), middle office, back office teams and other relevant support functions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Business, Economics or related discipline
Minimum 7-10 years relevant prior work experience in Trade Finance / RSF at Financial Institution(s) in Australia
Existing Australian market client network with proven track record in origination, sales, client management and consistently meeting sales targets
Strong technical proficiency in Trade Finance products, in particular guarantees, letters of credit, trade loans, and working capital solutions
Excellent client engagement and negotiation skills, ability to pitch clients on trade finance / RSF solutions
