As an Exhibition Sales Representative, you’ll grow our business by building strong, value-driven relationships with clients across your territory (Italy and Spain). You’ll sell exhibition space, sponsorships, and digital branding solutions for our events happening worldwide — using your market knowledge and sales skills to find the best fit for each customer. You’ll work closely with internal teams, based internationally, to share customer insights that help shape our events, while also helping your sales team grow.
Job Responsibility
Build and maintain strong relationships by identifying client value drivers and offering tailored solutions including exhibition space, sponsorships, digital tools, and branding
Proactively engage new and existing clients through a mix of calls, emails, social media, virtual and face-to-face meetings, and networking events
Travel to competitive events, internationally to find new prospects
Prepare personalised proposals linking client outcomes to solutions
Collaborate with show teams to develop bespoke value-led packages
Plan and run roadshows and client events to grow your network
Leverage AI, social media, and other tools to expand your client portfolio and secure strategic partnerships
Use market insights and trends to drive sales
Effectively utilize CRM systems to manage customer interactions, extract key insights, and create bespoke reports
Develop comprehensive sales plans demonstrating strong regional industry knowledge
Record all customer activity accurately in our CRM
Maintain a realistic and reliable sales pipeline
Regularly assess pipeline health
identify risks and opportunities, adjusting plans accordingly
Lead collaborative pipeline reviews with line manager, contributing insights and seeking strategic input
Leverage client relationships to cross-sell shows into new regions and industries
Act as a strategic partner by providing customer feedback and market intelligence to internal show teams
Identify development areas with your line manager and explore ways to improve performance
Contribute to team training topics
Take ownership of continuous learning and actively seek feedback

Requirements
Confident communicator engaging senior and C-suite stakeholders with clear, persuasive value propositions
Emotionally intelligent relationship builder skilled at long-term client partnerships
Consultative sales expert adept at uncovering needs and designing tailored solutions
Strong written communicator, creating impactful proposals and presentations
Digitally fluent with advanced skills in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, LinkedIn, and AI tools like ChatGPT
Quick learner with strategic mindset, adaptable to changing market demands
Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills
Multilingual skills: English mandatory, Spanish/French as a plus
Strong academic background with a high level of achievement
Degree or qualifications in International Business, Business Studies, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
Proven success in B2B solution sales, ideally in exhibitions, events, or related sectors
Skilled managing diverse portfolios with tailored outreach strategies
Experienced selling to senior decision-makers
Expertise in value-based selling and creating bespoke, compelling proposals
Proficient in AI tools and social media for sales enhancement
High competence in Salesforce and call analysis platforms
Strong pipeline management skills with ability to identify risks/opportunities and provide performance insights
International or multi-market sales experience is a plus
Familiarity with exhibitions/events industry highly desirable
