Job Description

Bachmann develops Power Distribution Units and solutions for critical infrastructures and data center environments from robust basic PDUs to highly intelligent, connected systems for energy management and monitoring. Technologically, we are strong. Our portfolio is broad. Our brand is well established. What is currently holding us back is not the product, but the path to market. While we are already well positioned within the distribution landscape in the German market, our international scaling efforts are still falling short of their potential. This is exactly where our biggest lever lies and where we have the greatest need to catch up. This is precisely the point where we are making a change and exactly why this role exists and why we are looking for you.

Job Responsibility

  • Building and developing internationally operating distribution partners
  • Listing DCS and PDU products with international distributors
  • Developing clear pricing and commercial offer structures for the channel
  • Building long-term, personal relationships based on mutual respect and trust
  • Ensuring close alignment between Sales, IT, Product Management, and Distribution
  • Combining market development with hands-on execution
  • Defining a distribution and go-to-market strategy for the DCS/PDU business and bringing it to life step by step

Requirements

  • A strong, international network within the distribution or channel environment, ideally in the DCS, IT, or infrastructure context, that you can actively leverage
  • Fluency in German (C1) and solid English skills (B1), both in negotiation contexts
  • A strong sense of ownership, resilience, and a genuine drive to build something new
  • Willingness to travel, especially in the early phase
  • You are a highly experienced sales professional with a background in international distribution or channel business, ideally with exposure to DCS, IT infrastructure, or PDU-related products
  • Your background is commercial, you are strong in negotiations, and you think entrepreneurially

Nice to have

Technical understanding is helpful but what really matters is your sales expertise and market understanding

What we offer

  • Company car for your field sales activities
  • Access to Corporate Benefits (discount platform)
  • Childcare support
  • Subsidies for public transportation and bicycles
  • Values-driven culture
  • Approach to feedback on equal footing
  • First-name basis from day one
