Job Description:

We're currently partnering with an automotive business in looking for a newly created International Sales Director to develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and market share across international markets. This role involves managing and expanding our network of dealerships, distributors, and partners, while ensuring the achievement of sales targets and maximizing profitability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and sales metrics to achieve sales targets and expand brand presence in international markets
  • Manage and support existing network of international dealerships and distributors, including providing guidance and support on sales techniques, product knowledge, marketing activities, and customer service best practices
  • Identify and collaborate with new partners to expand market coverage for automobile distributions
  • Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, contracts, and pricing strategies with international partners
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly
  • Analyze sales data, market reports, and financial information to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations in all international sales activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, logistics, and finance, to achieve sales objectives
  • P&L management and ownership
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in business or related discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in international sales within the automotive industry, with a focus on dealership/network management
  • Proven sales and business development track record
  • Strong understanding of automotive sales processes, distribution channels, and dealership operations
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Relationship oriented with the ability to understand different cultures
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication in Chinese and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally
