Job Description

This position will be a key member of the International Tax Reporting Team and part of its responsibilities are: coordinate, analyze, review and consolidate all Latam Tax Reporting related activities under FAS109 reports (ASC740) in HFM Cloud at sector level; contribute to the development of dashboards, automation tools, and insight generation; provide technical tax accounting support to the sector; assist in corporate tax projects.

  • Coordinate, analyze, review and consolidate all Latam Tax Reporting related activities under FAS109 reports (ASC740) in HFM Cloud at sector level
  • Contribute to the development of dashboards, automation tools, and insight generation
  • Provide technical tax accounting support to the sector
  • Assist in corporate tax projects
  • Assist in reviewing & analyzing the tax reported figures by the market units/legal entities in a monthly, quarterly and annual tax schedules, identify and help the market unit/legal entities clear validation errors in HFM FAS109 (ASC740) reporting for actual and forecast process
  • Review FAS109 tax schedules and assist the Manager/Sr Analyst to provide technical support to field for issues identified
  • Assist in preparing consolidated analyses required by Corporate Tax and Corporate Control
  • Assist with questions and information requests from Corporate Tax

Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Bachelor’s degree in accounting is mandatory
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience as in general accounting roles, general auditor, tax auditor, sr tax consultant or similar positions
  • Knowledge in ASC740 (FAS109) is mandatory
  • Tax Reporting experience 2 years
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish). English level of 70% (reading, writing, conversational)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, macros) mandatory
  • Highly organized and methodical individual who pays attention to details and analysis
  • Must be proactive and be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Interpersonal and communication skills are required as individual will be required to interact with employees of all levels and different countries
  • Ability to work under pressure and in stressful environments to adhere to strict
  • Able to analyze large data sets fast

Nice to have

  • Big Four experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge in USGAAP and MEXGAAP is desirable
  • Previous systems experience working with HFM is desirable
  • Previous experience working actively in automation processes desirable
