Job Description

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking an International Relations Specialist. In this role, you will serve as a Senior Advisor on politico-military and security cooperation/security assistance matters in both Europe and Africa, including Title 10 Building Partner Capacity (BPC) programs, and directorate military and civilian personnel issues.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as Technical Advisor to the DS4/COMSPACEFOR and the DAF on political-military and foreign military sales (FMS) matters
  • Serve as Technical Advisor to the DS4/COMSPACEFOR and the DAF regarding space relations with NATO and/or the NATO Space Centre for integration and support
  • Oversee all segments of security cooperation building partner capacity for the Director of Regional Affairs (SAF/IAR) and the DAF
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate the international engagement and strategic planning activities of the component and serve as the primary advisor on all directorate military and international relationships that are established through the DS4 and space component
  • Coordinate with appropriate International Engagement (IE) organizations outside of the DS4/ COMSPACEFOR staff to ensure proper procedures are followed
  • Build and maintain in-house processes, where necessary, to facilitate the smooth flow of information in dealings with foreign partners, higher headquarters commands, embassies, and/or regional desk officers

Requirements

  • Travel extensively in support of meetings at foreign military installations, embassies, and/or conferences
  • Must submit for an official passport in order to support countries that require specific passports for entry
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, articulate complex issues, and maintain good working relationships
  • 10+ years of experience
  • TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • Current Passport
