Job Description:

The Directorate of Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions at the University of Wolverhampton is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join as an International Recruitment Officer. This role will focus on increasing applications and enrolments from international students and supporting the University’s global recruitment objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic recruitment plans designed to grow international student numbers
  • Build and maintain relationships with international schools and colleges
  • Manage a network of recruitment agents and partners
  • Represent the University at recruitment events
  • Support on-campus recruitment activities and initiatives
  • Strengthen the University’s global presence
  • Ensure a high-quality experience for prospective students throughout the recruitment journey

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in international student recruitment
  • Demonstrable experience of managing overseas recruitment activity
  • Strong understanding of the international higher education recruitment landscape from both commercial and cultural perspectives
  • Confident in delivering presentations to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to organise recruitment events
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to analyse data to inform recruitment activity
  • Must hold a valid passport
  • Willing to travel overseas for extended periods as required
