Job Description:

As an International Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to complete required US internship hours, develop pharmacy knowledge, and deliver exceptional care to patients. Responsibilities include customer service, regulatory adherence, pharmacy operations, and leadership tasks.

Job Responsibility:

Greet each customer in a courteous and professional manner
assist all pharmacy and front store customers with their questions and concerns
comply with all federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
adhere to CVS workflow and ensure standards are maintained
process prescriptions including translation of SIG codes, product selection, and measuring drugs
resolve third party rejections and complete manual claim forms
support scheduling activities according to the needs of the business and workflow model
coordinate/implement the training and development of Pharmacy Support Staff

Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy
active Pharmacy Intern license in state where district is located
0 to 3 years of relevant experience
ability to have regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
ability to lift and exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
eligibility to immunize is preferred
strong communication and presentation skills

Nice to have:

proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
eligibility to immunize
