Job Description:

This role supports Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduates in completing their required US Internship hours to develop their pharmacist knowledge, skills, and leadership ability. It offers a mixed modality learning plan and exposure to patient care, practice management, and education.

Job Responsibility:

Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner
Assist pharmacy and front store customers with questions and concerns
Process prescriptions including translation of SIG codes, counting and labeling
Resolve third party rejections and complete manual claim forms
Ensure inventory management policies and procedures are followed
Offer to counsel and direct customers to pharmacist
Ensure patient confidentiality
Comply with federal and state laws, rules, and CVS procedures
Support supervising pharmacist and comply with regulations
Maintain professional pharmacy department standards
Coordinate and train Pharmacy Support Staff.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy
active Pharmacy Intern license in state where district is located
Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy prior to beginning Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program at CVS
Pharmacist licensure in the state in which the position is based within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
Strong communication and presentation skills
Completion of US internship hours within 18 months
Ability to lift and exert up to 20 lbs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) preferred
Eligibility to immunize preferred
Prior relevant work experience preferred (0-5 years).
