Job Responsibility

  • Lead all international and domestic payroll operations across multiple countries and regions
  • Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and international regulations
  • Manage relationships with global payroll providers, tax partners, and external vendors
  • Oversee payroll processing, reconciliations, reporting, and year-end activities
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, labor regulations, and reporting requirements
  • Develop and improve payroll controls, processes, and standard operating procedures
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Accounting, and Legal teams on payroll-related initiatives
  • Support global expansion efforts, acquisitions, and integration activities
  • Lead payroll system enhancements, implementations, and optimization projects
  • Supervise and mentor payroll staff while building scalable payroll infrastructure
  • Assist with audits, internal controls, and risk management initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including international payroll leadership
  • Strong knowledge of multi-country payroll regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing payroll operations across multiple legal entities and currencies
  • Familiarity with global payroll providers and HRIS/payroll systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Nice to have

  • CPP certification
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or global operations environments
  • Experience with large ERP or payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP, or Oracle
  • Experience leading payroll transformation or process improvement initiatives
