Join our International Logistics Team. The International Logistics Team sits in our Business Operations division. Following an international expansion, the team is rapidly growing to accommodate the growth of our global business. They are responsible for all movement of goods to facilitate our international customer's needs, including all Softcat exports from the UK.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinating international shipments for high-value and complex customer orders, ensuring timely and compliant delivery
Managing customs and regulatory requirements, working closely with international distribution partners and sales teams to resolve order or compliance-related queries
Overseeing order fulfilment and distribution processes for strategic customer accounts, acting as the central coordinator for internal and external stakeholders
Serving as the primary point of contact for key global clients, ensuring a high level of service and proactive communication
Leading logistics-related projects, including process improvements, system upgrades, or international expansion initiatives
Participating in customer meetings and calls to present export capabilities, shipping options, and all processes tailored to their specific destination requirements
Collaborating with internal teams such as procurement, sales, and finance to ensure smooth order fulfilment and alignment with business processes
Requirements:
Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills
A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork
Confidence communicating with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
A positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of your work
Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.)
Some prior experience in administration, customer service, or operations would be helpful but isn't essential
Nice to have:
Experience with logistics or order management systems is a bonus
