Job Description:

You will be the primary contact for clients and agents based in Middle East and Africa, as well as for the whole network of World Courier offices for shipments within these regions. You will have the responsibility to book shipments and ensure that everything is done in a quality and timely manner so that shipments are delivered on time and in perfect conditions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle enquiries from clients, agents, and World Courier offices via phone and email in English and French
  • Receive bookings via email and update World Courier’s internal tracking system
  • Provide quotations via email
  • Monitor and track ongoing shipments, responding to any deviations from the plan
  • Keep clients and World Courier offices updated on the status of their shipments, especially in case of delays
  • Action all notes sent in World Courier’s internal tracking system
  • Advise clear instructions for pick-up, special delivery, or temperature control handling to agents or destination offices on how a shipment should be managed
  • Communicate any temperature results promptly after delivery, checking and noting any deviations
  • Build and maintain relationships with World Courier offices, clients, agents, airlines, handling agents, and suppliers
  • Ensure internal systems are updated when new jobs are raised in the system

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and French (verbal and written)
  • Prior experience or knowledge of the logistics sector – Desirable
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions and provide relevant information upon request
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Strong team player – able to collaborate constructively with colleagues inside and outside the department to ensure excellent client service
