As an International AR Analyst, you will collaborate closely with assigned international market teams—including Control, Franchise Administration, Legal, and Planning—as well as International Accounts Receivable (AR) Cash Specialists to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all data recorded within the Accounts Receivable system. You will proactively communicate with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple regions to support timely cash application, reconcile account balances, and maintain up-to-date and reliable financial records. Additionally, contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies, enhancing data validation procedures, and supporting initiatives that strengthen the overall quality and transparency of AR reporting.
Job Responsibility:
Facilitate period and quarterly reporting for assigned market(s), including sales accruals, allowance for doubtful accounts analysis, and conducting pre-close meetings
Prepare and ensure timely completion of account reconciliations, journal entries, and other SOX control requirements
Maintain master store data within JDE for all development-related activities: i.e. new franchisees, new stores, closed stores, transfers, etc
Generate billings in JDE to franchisees and third parties for miscellaneous services
record associated income and receivable based on foreign currency requirement
Participate in monthly collection meetings with the Market Control Team
provide initial contact to franchisees to collect outstanding obligations. Escalate uncollectible accounts for further action
Assist with information requests related to External/Internal Audit requests, SOX Peer Reviews, and special projects, as necessary
Identify process improvement opportunities by working closely with Supervisor/Manager and IT to incorporate best practices and leverage system functionality
Requirements:
Bachelors in Accounting (or related field)
3+ years public or private industry accounting experience
Strong Computer Skills: Experience with JDE and Microsoft products (such as Excel Pivot tables, vLookup formulas, etc)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong interpersonal skills
Must reside in Louisville or a surrounding area.
Nice to have:
Experience with a large international Company is highly regarded
Experience in the QSR or retail environment
Understanding of foreign currency accounting preferred.
