Hayley Group Limited has an exciting vacancy for a highly motivated Internal Sales person to join our well-established and experienced team based at our BML Hayley Wolverhampton branch. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary. Hayley Group is the largest independent distributor of MRO engineering products and consumables (bearings, fasteners, PPE, tools, lubricants etc) in the UK.
Job Responsibility:
Ensuring an efficient and professional response to all incoming enquiries and orders
Proactively follow up on outstanding customer enquiries
Prepare accurate quotations
Look for opportunities to upsell and add value
Undertaking a variety of purchasing and administrative tasks such as placing orders, raising invoices, and supporting the wider sales and purchasing functions
Take ownership of maintaining branch and customer stores to a high standard
Building rapport with customers
Take personal responsibility for ensuring that every customer requirement is fulfilled accurately and on time
Requirements:
Proven internal sales experience
Ability to explain technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders would be an advantage
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Self-motivated, with strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK Driving Licence as occasional visits to some clients may be required
Nice to have:
Knowledge of MRO/Engineering products is desirable
