Hayley Dexis has an exciting vacancy for a highly motivated Internal Sales person to join our well-established and experienced team based at our branch in Milton Keynes. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary. Hayley Group is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables (bearings, fasteners, PPE, tools, lubricants etc) in the UK. Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Job Responsibility:
Responding to incoming enquiries
Responding to customer queries
Processing orders
Being on the phone
Being the face of our trade counter, providing expert knowledge and assistance to any walk-in customers
Proactively follow up on outstanding customer enquiries
Prepare accurate quotations
Look for opportunities to upsell and add value
Requirements:
Knowledge of MRO/Engineering products is essential for this role
Prior internal sales experience or experience within a customer service / administrative environment
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Self-motivated, with strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
Experience and knowledge of electrical components and key suppliers
Background in engineering or manufacturing
