Randstad Canberra is partnering with a well-established, family-owned business in Queanbeyan to find a proactive Sales and Operations Coordinator. In this permanent, full-time position, you will be the backbone of the internal sales team. This role is about providing genuine customer service, supporting daily operations, and helping the branch run smoothly. Our client offers flexible start times and the opportunity to earn bonuses when team targets are met.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle incoming leads and enquiries, providing practical guidance and recommending the right product solutions in the industrial/trades space
  • Nurture long-lasting relationships with current customers to ensure they receive excellent service and ongoing support
  • Manage data entry, process orders, and facilitate workflow distribution through the company’s operating system
  • Work closely with the wider team to support daily operations and help the branch meet its shared goals and KPIs
  • Keep an ear to the ground for new business opportunities or ways to better support existing clients

Requirements:

  • Background in internal sales, operations, or customer service, ideally within the trades or industrial sector
  • Great interpersonal skills with a knack for building genuine rapport with tradespeople and industrial clients
  • Highly dependable and organised. You can juggle multiple tasks and handle data entry without letting the quality of your customer service slip
  • Proactive, accountable, and comfortable working independently while still being a collaborative team player
  • Strong computer skills
  • particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • CRM, ERP, or order management software experience
  • Year 12 completion
  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration
