The roles purpose is to is to generate leads, close sales and build relationships with customers – often over the phone, by email or via virtual meetings.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver a first-class service to customers
Deal promptly and efficiently with customer enquiries on the telephone and via email
Sales order processing
Gain a clear understanding of customers’ requirements
Accurately input orders including site contact details and addresses for deliveries
Effectively communicate with customers, managers and colleagues
Accurately collect and record customer information including customer interactions onto the CRM system
Maintain a manageable sized Customer Ledger – monitor contact frequency and spends
Quote for new business & promote further sales
Chase outstanding quotations and enquiries
Develop new business relationships with customers and prospective customers
Achieve best price / Margin for each order
Accept and confirm new orders (Check prices and delivery details)
Liaise with transport and production to confirm delivery / collection lead time for orders
Ensure all work is in line with company policies and objectives
