Job Description:

Hayley Dexis has an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive to join our well-established and experienced team based at our branch in Burton Upon Trent. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary and have access to a range of benefits. Hayley Dexis is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables (hydraulics, bearings, fasteners, fluid power, PPE, tools, lubricants etc) in the UK.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responding to incoming enquiries
  • Responding to customer queries and processing orders
  • Being the face of our trade counter, providing expert knowledge and assistance to walk-in customers
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding customer enquiries
  • Prepare accurate quotations
  • Look for opportunities to upsell and add value

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of MRO/Engineering products is ideal, but full training will be provided
  • Prior internal sales experience or experience within a customer service / administrative environment
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, with strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Background in engineering or manufacturing
