City Plumbing are delighted to announce Commercial at City Plumbing, a brand new venture that looks to sell the full range of products for the commercial construction market. This Internal Sales Executive position is a great opportunity to join a fast growing business and develop your own career. We’re already a market leader in the domestic Plumbing and Heating sector, selling products to both trade and consumer customers. But now we are expanding into the Commercial (Non-Residential) sector too. This is why we’re excited to announce Commercial at City Plumbing has now been established offering solutions across the Commercial sector including everything from Bathrooms & Washrooms to Mechanical & Electrical Building services- selling the full range of products for commercial construction projects. As part of this new venture, we’re now looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive to be responsible for identifying and targeting prospect customers and driving new account opening with commercial customers. The Internal Sales Executive will do this through contacting new customers to promote the proposition focusing on lapsed or low spending accounts, which will drive an increase in enquiries. By doing this, the Internal Sales Executive will increase exposure in the market, customers and sales growth. This Internal Sales Executive position is a great opportunity to join a fast growing business and develop your own career.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify potential clients through market research conducted, the insights from the Glenigans platform and then take that from a cold to a warm lead to pass on to the Account Managers to see through to completion
  • Contact lapsed or low spending customers to win back business and increase sales growth by sharing details of new offers, one time exclusive offers or reselling the value proposition
  • Establish and nurture long term relationships with new customers, acting as the main point of contact for the sales process
  • Utilise the CRM system to track and manage sales opportunities. Forecast, monitor progress and amend strategies to maximise opportunity
  • Qualify leads, identify decision makers and engage in consultative selling to move leads through the pipeline before handing over to an account manager
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop campaigns aimed at attracting new business. Utilise the skills already within the business to understand the market and align the offerings to our new customers, to increase the likelihood of City Plumbing being the new customers choice
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify potential business opportunities. Use information to stay ahead of our competitors and the market. Proactively manage personal development. Continually assesses performance and evaluates ways to improve
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership to ensure that senior leaders are able to make data driven judgements based on accurate information. This will also give opportunity to celebrate successes and develop new ways of working where necessary

Requirements

  • Exceptional telesales skills, with the ability to prospect sales through cold, lapsed, and warm calls
  • Exposure to resolving queries end to end process, and focussing on solutions and transparency of communication
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise the work of self and others
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to build relationships quickly and be a champion for Commercial at City Plumbing
  • Excellent Commercial P&H industry wide knowledge would be beneficial
  • Must be UK Based and prepared to travel to our head office in Crick (Northamptonshire) at least three times a week after training
  • There will also be quarterly overnight stays
