Job Description:

Provide frontline sales support for distribution channels including Personal Producing General Agent (PPGA), Direct, Independent Broker Dealer (IBD), and Managing General Agent (MGA) Brokerage channels. As a subject matter expert, actively consult and educate on case design, product selection, website and company resources, illustration software, approved digital sales tools, and any additional resources that enable the sales process.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide frontline sales support for distribution channels including Personal Producing General Agent (PPGA), Direct, Independent Broker Dealer (IBD), and Managing General Agent (MGA) Brokerage channels
  • Respond to field calls and inquiries providing education and support on products, marketing and sales materials, sales concepts, product education, advanced illustration support, and other sales enablement resources
  • Utilize a consultative approach to recommend appropriate solutions to Agents and/or MGA office staff with case design, product selection, marketing resources, and approved selling tools
  • Maintain a solutions based mentality when handling incoming calls/e-mails and ensure that each interaction includes the promotion of any applicable company products
  • Use online programs to provide technical support and problem solving to resolve field issues related to all sales enablement platforms
  • Track and document all field interactions in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Make proactive outbound telephone calls to agents/advisors to increase product awareness, marketing campaigns and new product launches
  • Assist in the onboarding process for newly appointed Agents and MGAs by offering and delivering successful training programs and educational support
  • Recommend illustration software enhancements based on data obtained from our field force and personal experiences
  • Responsible for illustration software user acceptance testing and quality assurance
  • Maintain a working knowledge of competitor products and offerings
  • Work with managers on ongoing projects
  • Create and present virtual conference meetings as assigned
  • Proactively cross-sell additional Sammons Financial Group Company's products
  • Participate in external meetings and presentations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 1-2 years' relevant work experience Preferred
  • Background in life insurance sales or customer service preferred
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships
  • Complete knowledge of the sales process
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced call center environment
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Computer Skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • State Life Insurance license or ability to obtain within 120 Days Preferred
  • Criminal background check required
