Internal Sales Assistant

• Engage with customers both in-person and over the phone to address sales inquiries promptly and professionally
• Work collaboratively with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
• Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers
• Assist in restocking inventory, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the sales floor is organized
• Build and nurture relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business
• Operate computer-based sales systems efficiently
• training will be provided as needed
• Support other branch activities as required, such as stock control and yard assistance

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a retail or sales environment
• Preferably with electrical knowledge
• Strong communication skills with a friendly and customer-focused demeanour
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals
• Familiarity with sales processes and comfortable handling telephone inquiries
• Basic computer proficiency: training will be provided for specific systems
• Proactive attitude towards achieving sales targets and delivering excellent service

Preferably with extensive Timber merchant knowledge
