Job Responsibility:
Manage the Full Recruitment Lifecycle: Oversee all stages of recruitment, from taking job briefs to managing offers
Proactive Sourcing: focus on outreach, build relationships across networks, and constantly look for new ways to find A-players
Candidate Assessment: Conduct effective video interviews, assessing skills and behaviours against role requirements, and identify high-potential candidates who align to our values
Partner with Hiring Managers: Collaborate to define ideal candidate profiles, align expectations, advise on market insights, and support hiring managers in making confident, high-quality decisions
Candidate Management: Provide an exceptional candidate experience from start to finish, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and a respectful, human process for every applicant
Challenge & Improve Recruitment Processes: Feel comfortable giving and receiving feedback to refine our approach- identifying opportunities to streamline, innovate, and elevate our recruitment standards
Lead & Support Recruitment Initiatives: Support employer branding activities, careers events, recruitment campaigns, and talent-focused projects that strengthen our pipeline and showcase AMJ as a high-performance, values-driven company
Requirements:
Recruitment Experience: experienced in 360 recruitment, with a focus on candidate assessment and experience
Knowledge of recruiting roles in publishing, would be an added bonus
Growth Mindset: enthusiastic and passionate about recruitment
Organised & detail-oriented: ability to manage multiple tasks, track progress, and follow up reliably
A communicator: Friendly, professional, with strong verbal and written skills
Proactive thinker: anticipate needs, spot opportunities, and take initiative
