Job Description:

TCHC is looking for passionate and qualified Internal Quality Assurers to quality assure study programmes across delivery including Health and Social Care/Childcare, Employability/Progression, and Functional Skills. The IQA will support the TCHC Group delivery to ensure Tutors and Centre Managers are working to the highest standards.

Job Responsibility:

Work with the Curriculum and Quality Manager to ensure the Quality Assurance (QA) strategy is fully implemented
Undertake regular CPD
Visit offices and centres to conduct quality assurance checks
Check Schemes of Works
Work with teaching staff to ensure learners complete timely
Prepare teaching staff risk bandings
Attend training and meetings
Promote and safeguard the welfare of learners
Carry out compliance checks on learner reviews
Ensure quality cycles are followed
Ensure centres make progress on quality improvement plans
Contribute to company self-assessment
Participate in audits and inspections
Review support for SEND learners
Monitor learner progress
Carry out customer service calls to learners and employers
Maintain IQA Sampling Plans
Carry out summative and formative sampling
Provide teaching staff with recorded support
Carry out Observations of teaching, learning and assessment
Chair standardisation meetings
Check learner, parent/carer, and partner surveys
Research updates to qualification specifications
Participate in OFSTED inspections
Attend External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits

Requirements:

PTLLS, Certificate of Education or PGCE qualification
Assessor qualification at Level 3 or above
Level 4 IQA qualification
Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications or equivalent in English and Maths
Must be able to drive and have access to a car
Experience as an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA)
