Job Description:

Implement an efficient management of the internal flow of materials, which meets with efficiency the customers requirements internal and external, namely through the implementation of visual tools for stock control and storage management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate and develop the material flow between warehouse and other areas, including flow management with external warehouse
  • Define and implement the organization of material flow in the process of receiving goods, internal storage, supplying the lines (train routes) and dispatching to the customer
  • Active Participation in the definition and implementation of safety improvements in logistics processes
  • Collaborate in the creation of documentation to support internal logistics processes
  • Support production and warehouse layout definition
  • Support continuous improvements projects
  • Control/Optimize stocks within the area of responsibility
  • Support the Maintenance Management Tools relating to the means of material handling (Preventive/Predictive)
  • Collaborate and communicate with functional teams on different projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering in related area required
  • Experience in similar roles in the automotive industry (preferred)
  • Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing (preferred)
  • Knowledge in Quality and Problem Solving tools (5W, Ishikawa
  • PDCA
  • 8D) (Preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel, Outlook, Lotus Notes, Minitab and PowerPoint
  • Good English language skills (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency level Portuguese (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

Master’s degree in Logistics and Production desired
