Job Description

We’re looking for an Internal Engagement and Events Partner to join Forge Holiday Group on a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract - this is not your typical internal comms or events role. This is for someone who thinks big, moves fast, and genuinely loves creating moments that make people feel connected, energised and proud to work where they do.

Job Responsibility

  • Tell stories that connect - Create engaging communications that land, using the right tone, timing and channel, and confidently bring content to life on camera while using AI to improve quality and speed
  • Create unforgettable experiences - Lead the delivery of internal events and culture moments - from leadership conferences and company celebrations to engagement campaigns and recognition programmes
  • Bring ideas to life - Turn bold, creative concepts into seamless experiences, managing logistics, suppliers, budgets and stakeholders with confidence
  • Shape culture and engagement - Design initiatives that bring our values to life and make people feel seen, using insight, feedback and data to continuously improve the colleague experience
  • Collaborate across brands and teams - Partner with HR, Marketing, Operations and senior leaders across the group, building strong relationships and turning big ideas into joined‑up experiences colleagues genuinely want to be part of
  • Champion technology and AI - Use AI and emerging tech to enhance creativity, streamline content and elevate engagement, actively testing, learning and sharing what works while staying curious about what’s next

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering internal events, engagement or culture initiatives, ideally across multiple sites or audiences
  • A creative mindset with the confidence and follow‑through to turn ideas into reality
  • Strong communication skills and great judgement around tone, timing and message
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and technology, with hands‑on experience using tools to improve your work
  • Confidence on camera, presenting, hosting or appearing in content is part of the role
  • Strong stakeholder skills, with the confidence to challenge briefs and champion bold ideas

Nice to have

  • Experience in a multi‑brand or multi‑location organisation
  • Background in employee experience, engagement, internal comms or events (in‑house or agency)
  • Hands‑on experience with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, image or video tools)
  • Confidence using platforms like SharePoint, Teams, design and video tools without needing a specialist

What we offer

  • Annual bonus scheme
  • 33 days’ holiday (including bank holidays), plus up to 5 extra with long service
  • Option to purchase extra holiday days if you wish
  • A day off for your birthday
  • 2 volunteering days per year
  • Enhanced parental leave (24 weeks maternity, 3 weeks paternity at full pay)
  • Pension scheme with employer contributions
  • Discounted and last-minute stays at Forest Holidays and Sykes Cottages for you, your friends & family
  • Special offers and discounts designed to enhance your overall wellbeing
  • Health cash plan & life assurance
  • Training & development opportunities
  • 24/7 mental health support
  • On-site gym and parking at Chester HQ (near train station)
  • Employee savings scheme
  • Long service awards and company events
