Job Responsibility:

  • To develop, lead and implement the internal communication to colleagues and secure the communication process by planning, executing and following up in line with Country communication strategy as communication responsible person in the store
  • Proactively collaborate with Service Office communications team to develop and execute of the internal communication contents
  • Create awareness and lead the management of internal communication channels (Internal board, Digital, Viva Engage, Inside local page, newsletter)
  • Support the store manager’s and management’s communication needs and be a coach and sparring partner to managers
  • Secure IKEA tone of voice and visualization in all parts of communication and make communication clear, simple and understandable to the target group
  • Support the internal campaign and change management by delivering relevant contents and solution to engage our colleagues
  • Work closely with country internal communication leader in Country Communication team as matrix partner
  • Set and manage annual store communication plan based on business plan and people plan
  • collaborate and support business communication when required for better colleagues’ awareness

Requirements:

  • Good sense of visual communication and strong layout skills
  • Deep knowledge of what communication channels to use for the best effect
  • Fluent in written and spoken local language as well as English
  • down to earth and simple tone of voice
  • Experience using relevant tools, applications and channels
  • Ability to overview the business to link to communication to internal colleagues
  • Strong understanding of unit operations
  • Prior experience in a commercial team preferred
  • Ability to prioritize diverse inputs and independently determine the most effective communication channels to deliver internal communications
  • Excellent time management skills
