Our mission driven and non-profit client in NYC is seeking a Communications Manager to support strategic internal and external communications initiatives. This is a temporary/contract position. This role will lead the development and execution of communication plans that engage key stakeholders, support executive messaging and drive alignment across a complex national network. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor with deep experience in internal communications, stakeholder engagement and strategic storytelling.
Job Responsibility
Develop and execute strategic communications plans
Draft and edit executive communications, talking points, presentations and stakeholder messaging
Support high-profile organizational events and leadership communications
Partner cross-functionally to ensure messaging consistency and brand alignment
Manage communications across a highly matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders
Requirements
8+ years of corporate and/or internal communications experience
Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills
Experience supporting executive and leadership communications
Strong stakeholder management and project coordination abilities
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
