Job Description

EarnIn is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Lead to establish and scale internal communications as a core function of the Communications team. This role will own the strategy, systems, and execution of global internal communications to drive employee engagement, leadership alignment, cultural connection, and operational clarity across a growing, global workforce.

Job Responsibility

  • Establish internal communications as a formal, centralized function with clear ownership, systems, and measurement
  • Build and manage a structured internal communications framework, including channels, cadence, and editorial calendar
  • Execute against the purpose, audience, and operating model for all internal communication forums
  • Re-align company communication touchpoints by shifting All Hands to a quarterly cadence
  • Develop and manage a monthly company update (newsletter format)
  • Produce and support Town Halls / AMAs (~7 per year)
  • Partner closely with the Executive Leadership Team to improve clarity, consistency, and impact of leadership communication
  • Provide content support, templates, and messaging guidance for ELT communications
  • Enable effective communication cascade through people managers and team leads
  • Strengthen connection and belonging across a hybrid, global workforce through storytelling, recognition, and cultural programming
  • Partner with HR, ERGs, and Community teams to support monthly engagement moments
  • Spotlight employee stories, team wins, and mission impact
  • Support major launches, org changes, reorgs, training initiatives, and company updates with clear, structured messaging
  • Translate operational forums (MBRs, QBRs) into company-wide narratives
  • Design and manage monthly pulse surveys to track engagement, clarity, and sentiment
  • Establish baseline metrics and track progress against defined engagement drivers
  • Report insights and recommendations back to Communications and leadership teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Internal Communications, Employee Communications, Corporate Communications, or related roles
  • Proven experience building or scaling internal communications in a growing or hybrid organization
  • Strong executive presence with experience supporting senior leaders and executive teams
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Experience managing multiple communication channels and complex messaging
  • Comfort operating both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • Experience working in tech, fintech, or high-growth companies
  • Experience supporting global or distributed workforces
  • Familiarity with employee engagement measurement and pulse survey tools
  • Experience partnering closely with People/HR teams
