Content Design & Internal Communications; Internal Event Management; Multimedia Production — Photo & Video; Digital Asset Management & Brand Governance

Job Responsibility

  • Design and produce brand-compliant materials across digital and print: eDMs, newsletters, intranet banners, presentation templates, event creatives, and print collateral
  • Work primarily in Figma and Adobe Suite
  • translate often ambiguous senior stakeholder briefs into clear, visually effective outputs
  • Maintain SOPs and master templates to ensure execution consistency and brand integrity across all channels
  • Support intranet content updates and digital channel management
  • Collaborate proactively with the management team to gather briefs, manage expectations, and meet agreed timelines
  • Own internal events (town halls, leadership offsites, team events) from concept to post-event: planning, vendor coordination, logistics, run-of-show, and recap communications
  • Develop all event communications touchpoints: invitations, agendas, signage, and post-event materials
  • Manage photo and video logistics for all events
  • serve as on-site point of contact for production
  • Ensure events are delivered on time and to stakeholder expectations
  • Film and edit video content for internal use: event coverage, stakeholder recordings, short-form internal content
  • Conduct or coordinate photography for events and key initiatives
  • Proficient in at least one professional editing tool (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro)
  • Maintain a clean, tagged, and accessible photo/video library within the DAM
  • Execute internal eDM campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (full onboarding and training provided)
  • Ensure accurate scheduling, audience targeting, and quality control prior to all sends
  • Basic HTML knowledge for email formatting is an advantage
  • Maintain centralized DAM: organize, tag, and keep key visuals, templates, and media assets current and accessible
  • Uphold KARL STORZ corporate identity standards across all output channels

Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Visual Communications or equivalent
  • portfolio required at interview
  • Minimum 3 years in a hybrid communications and design role (in-house or agency)
  • Strong Adobe Suite & Figma proficiency is mandatory
  • Video filming and editing capability (event coverage, stakeholder interviews) proficiency in Premiere Pro, or equivalent required
  • Exposure to email marketing platforms
  • willingness to learn Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Basic HTML knowledge for email formatting — an advantage
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for content creation and workflow efficiency
