Job Description

A leading Financial Services organization is seeking an Internal Communication Specialist to support a large enterprise marketing team. This contract role is on-site in either Chicago, IL or Tempe, AZ and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic communications within a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Create, edit and disseminate weekly internal communications, reaching thousands of employees
  • Review and refine editorial content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with standards
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to promote change awareness and drive message adoption
  • Utilize workflow tools for approval processes, content lifecycle management, and publication
  • Support the development of newsletters, intranet articles, and other internal communications, ensuring timely delivery

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in corporate and internal communications within fast-paced, regulated settings
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to coordinate messaging and approvals
  • Proficiency with workflow management platforms like Adobe Workfront and email distribution tools
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to multitask
