Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Internal Auditor to join our team in Northwood, Ohio. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a global organization, collaborating with colleagues across North and South America. Job Responsibility

  • Conduct risk-based financial and operational audits, evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and processes
  • Perform audit testing, analyze findings, and prepare recommendations under the guidance of senior audit staff
  • Collaborate with team members on fraud investigations, special projects, and process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to company standards, values, and principles during all audit activities
  • Participate in travel assignments across North and South America, fostering cross-regional collaboration
  • Assist in drafting comprehensive audit reports and providing actionable insights to management
  • Utilize analytical tools and software to support audit procedures and data analysis
  • Contribute to the continuous development of audit methodologies and practices
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels to enhance audit effectiveness

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, internal audit, or external audit
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or actively pursuing such a degree
  • Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other analytical tools
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, primarily within North and South America
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, initiative, and a proactive approach to tasks

Nice to have

Familiarity with data analytics software and foreign languages such as Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
