Internal Auditor

A very interesting interim opportunity has arisen within the Risk and Assurance team at a government department for an Internal Auditor. Reporting to the Deputy Director and working closely with a small team of four, the postholder will be responsible for delivering a risk and assurance mapping programme. This work will predominantly focus on organisational and enterprise risk and represents a key step in strengthening the wider risk management framework. A core element of the role will involve engaging with a broad and diverse range of stakeholders, including associated arms length bodies, to ensure their active involvement in the process. For the right individual, this is a genuinely unusual and compelling interim opportunity.
