Internal Auditor

• Conduct comprehensive internal audits to assess financial accuracy and operational compliance
• Analyze audit findings and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations
• Develop and execute audit programs tailored to organizational needs and industry standards
• Collaborate with departments to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures
• Assist in the annual internal audit process, ensuring all required documentation and evaluations are completed
• Identify potential risks and provide insights to enhance internal controls
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions based on audit results
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to maintain effective audit processes
• Support management in achieving organizational goals through effective risk management and compliance initiatives

• Strong understanding of internal audit principles, practices, and methodologies
• Knowledge of financial auditing and ability to analyze financial statements and data
• Familiarity with audit programs and tools used for assessing organizational compliance
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills to present findings and collaborate with teams
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in auditing within the utilities or infrastructure industry is a plus
