Job Description

Our client, a global company, is looking for an Internal Auditor to join their team! This will be an onsite role working out of their office in Midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will have prior experience working within a media production environment, Big Four experience, strong technical skills to work within large datasets. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute risk-based operational audits, advisory engagements, and special projects across media, streaming, production, and advertising businesses
  • Develop clear audit objectives, scopes, and risk assessments
  • Evaluate effectiveness of processes, controls, and governance
  • Leverage data analytics to inform audit planning, testing, and risk monitoring
  • Analyze transactional and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and emerging risks
  • Identify insights from data visuals, dashboards, and presentations to document them clearly in workpapers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related concentration
  • Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CFE, CISA, or equivalent (active or in progress)
  • Big Four experience is highly preferred
  • 3+ years of internal audit, external audit, or risk management experience
  • Strong understanding of operational risk, internal controls, and audit methodologies
  • Experience executing operational audits within media production (T&E, production, vendor payments, revenue processes, etc.)
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
