Job Description:

Atlassian is hiring an Internal Audit Manager who will oversee operational technology audits, implement innovations in auditing processes, and guide stakeholders on risk and control measures. The candidate will contribute extensively to the audit team’s effectiveness, handle stakeholder advisory programs, and work in a hybrid, remote, and global environment. The role requires strong expertise in internal audit processes and technical risks.

Job Responsibility:

Manage operational technology internal audits from scoping to reporting
identify technical operational risks and advise senior stakeholders on risk reduction
prepare reports to the board’s audit committee and other executives
help the internal audit team scale by driving innovation, implementing process improvements, automation, and analytics
contribute to annual auditing planning by identifying areas of focus aligned with company strategy
guide stakeholders on process improvements, risk mitigation, control enhancements, and audit matters
manage project team members by allocating work, setting deadlines, reviewing work papers, performing quality assurance, and providing feedback
collaborate and engage effectively with all levels of management, both in-person and remote, in a multinational organization

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, electronic engineering or a related field
72 months of progressive experience in a public multinational company or public accounting/consulting firm with multinational clients
experience leading teams on technical internal audit reviews
experience across a broad range of technology risk areas (e.g., IT controls, security, cloud infrastructure, etc.)
demonstrated understanding of internal audit processes, work products, and trends including automation and data analytics capabilities
experience progressing audit reviews autonomously in a hybrid remote and office environment
CISA, CIA, CPA, CFE, CISSP, or related certifications
must pass a technical interview
