Job Responsibility

  • Plan, lead and/or supervise audits, activities and special projects
  • Apply risk-based methodology in auditing
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit Directors and Managers to allocate department resources
  • Contribute to internal audit quality and improvement program
  • Manage team members and conduct performance reviews
  • Assign and supervise departmental objectives
  • Apply technology and tools to improve audit efficiencies
  • Manage project management and reporting
  • Coordinate status updates with public accountants
  • Coach, mentor and develop audit talent
  • Liaise with business and finance leadership
  • Analyze processes and data for compliance and efficiency
  • Review audit reports and engage in discussions
  • Propose solutions for business improvement
  • Plan and supervise audit work with special projects
  • Assist with risk assessment and audit plan
  • Keep abreast of accounting and regulatory changes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing direct teams preferred
  • Professional certification(s) such as CPA, CIA, CMA, CFE, or comparative international certifications required
  • 5+ years of auditing, accounting and finance experience with progressive levels of responsibility
  • Public accounting experience required
  • Multinational and public company experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Ability to learn technology and financial systems and applications
  • Experience with Data analytics, RPA, and/or visualization tools preferred
  • Skilled in operational procedures and systems
  • Inquisitive and fast learner
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, detail oriented
  • Skill in instructing and supporting team members
  • Collaboration effectively
  • Time management and multi-tasking
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
