Job Description:

Audit Director role responsible for setting and leading Wealth Audit Assurance Plan for Private Banking, Wealth at Work, and partnering with Wealth product audit leads for European Cluster coverage. Serves as Chief Audit Executive for Citi International Switzerland and Head of Audit for Switzerland and Monaco.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute portfolio of assurance activities within budget and timelines
  • Ensure timely validation of regulatory and internal audit issues
  • Attract, develop, and retain talent
  • Collaborate across IA to maximize resource efficiency
  • Provide local site leadership
  • Perform control environment assessments and identify thematic issues
  • Support IA's Quality Assurance function
  • Demonstrate sound risk assessment in business decisions
  • Represent IA in governance forums including Boards and Committees
  • Develop strong working relationships with IA teams, Management Stakeholders, and regulators
  • Share knowledge and insights within and across IA teams
  • Oversee development of annual Audit Plan
  • Provide periodic reports to Audit Committees and senior management

Requirements:

  • Significant relevant experience
  • Experience with internal or external control functions and regulators (including US)
  • Significant knowledge of compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and appropriate controls
  • Proven history of building strong relationships with stakeholders, regulators, and peers
  • Ability to influence and lead people across cultures at senior level
  • Strategic, analytical thinking and creative problem-solving
  • Ability to independently plan, develop and lead initiatives
  • Articulate and effective communicator both orally and in writing
  • Strong people skills with evidence of collaboration across large organizations
  • Strong leadership skills with proven history in driving positive change
  • Initiative-taking, strong diligence, collaborative, organized
  • Ability to assess complex issues through root cause analysis
  • Ability to challenge business management and escalate issues
  • Comfort navigating complex and working in highly matrixed organizations
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced degree preferred
